| No images on screen after removing from USB Cable |

Well i was a little stupid today and removed my player off the USB cable without properly disconnecting it from the computer, i've done it before and nothing happened.
Well now nothing comes on the screen, the player works, i can play music and stuff (i memorized the menu), so the player is totally functional, apart from the screen.
Is this a hardware issue or firmware?
Any people had similar experiences and been able to fix their player?

Okay, here's the skinny. Sunday, I tried to update my firmware but, stupidly, I didn't back it up so now, I'm left with a blue/ black screen with green edges (?!?). I've been through the dead player recover, took the player to bits and shorted it.. |

Can somebody help me, i bought a 8 gb mp4 player and everything was working find ive had it for like 1 month, and i charged it with the wall charger and when i went to check on it, it dindt turn on anymore. Can somebody helpl me?
